Elemental King Guide

At level 61, the Elemental King is the highest level boss in the game. He can be found in Vita Springs: Twilight guarded by level 60 Elemental King Guardians. His most sought after drop is the General Symbol, used in master rank crafting. He re-spawns in the small body of water at the end of Vita Springs every 2-3 hours so expect to be waiting a while.



You will typically find more than one person waiting with you for the King to re-spawn and whoever deals the most damage gets the drop. For this reason I recommend forming a team with another player, so that you both have a much higher chance of dealing the most damage. Basically the largest team gets the drop, and each member in that team has an equal chance of getting a symbol, if one drops. You each roll a number between 1 and 100 and the player with the largest number gets the Symbol.



I've tried killing the Elemental King alone with no other players around, but as a Mage at least, I don't think it's possible. If you're lucky enough, you will get a General Symbol which you can use to craft items or sell on the Auction House.
